S1 E4: Hey, Big Head.

We’ve turned love into this mushy, gushy, woozy doozy type of feeling that puts air beneath our wings and stars in our eyes. But what about its practical side? When we focus on the way love makes us feel we take a little bit away from its truth. Love, in all its glory might feel like its ours to be had, but maybe we’re missing the whole point. Maybe love is free, to be savored for its presence and set free to bless someone else. We can hope it comes back around and are lucky if it does, but until then, is it possible to cultivate enough to pass around. And is it possible that keeping it all to ourselves is the very thing that pushes love away?

Sure love makes us feel good, but where did we learn that we should be the centers of our own universe? When we focus on the way love makes us feel we take a little bit away from its truth and its magic. The love we’ve created has a whole lot of ego in it. It’s Episode 4 and maybe it’s time to ask: what has your ego done for you lately?

Affirmation
