Galentine's Day Dinner
Valentine's Day is one of those holidays that you love to hate until you can actually celebrate it like everyone else, and then it's your jam. To this day, I have never had a real, cliche Valentine's Day, but instead of ignoring it all together I decided to embrace love for love's sake.
The timing couldn't be better because I'm currently studying 1 Corinthians 13. It's the quintessential verse about what love is. It's perfection. It's steadfastness. It's truth. When I think about love from the 1 Corinthians 13 perspective it makes it easier to embrace a holiday designed for lovers (pun intended). Although it's not the romantic kind, I am surrounded by love all the time thanks to my supportive family and awesome girlfriends. The idea of a "Galentine's" Day has become super trendy as single ladies carve out a piece of the holiday for themselves too.
With that in mind, check out this "Galentine's" Day tablescape I created for the occasion.
Operating from a place of love is the foundation of our purpose. When you perceive everything through the lens of love it becomes easier to develop into the person you were called to be. In the meantime, what are your Valentine's Day plans?
